Frequently Asked Questions:

How long do I need to be in therapy & how frequently do we meet?

The length of the therapeutic process does not typically have a designated timeframe. The length of time is determined based off the needs of the individual in therapy. Making changes can take time and patience, and there is no set time frame for making such changes. In my experience, weekly 50 minute sessions is the most appropriate to establish rapport and ensure we are making progress toward your goals. We will reassess and adjust as needed.

What population do you work with?

I work with adults over the age of 18, typically struggling with things such as grief/loss, low self-esteem, and anxiety.

How much does therapy cost, and do you take insurance?

Sessions are 50 minutes and cost $125, I do offer limited availability for sliding scale based on income. I am in network with United Healthcare, UMR, Aetna, Anthem, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Please note; electing to use your health insurance includes third party involvement such as billers and insurance agents in order to submit claims for payment. You are responsible for understanding your benefits information. At any time, insurance can decline coverage and dictate how and when sessions can be conducted. Electing to utilize insurance also requires a mental health diagnosis to be given.

Do you offer in person sessions?

At this time, I do not provide sessions in person. All sessions are done virtually to ensure better access to care. I use a HIPAA compliant platform through Simple Practice to conduct sessions.

What is your availability?

I work Monday through Thursday evenings, Friday mornings/afternoons, and Saturday mornings/afternoons. Please contact me for exact availability.
